We participated this morning in our first garage sale. It was part of a street sale on our court. About six houses had stuff out and there was an amazing amount of traffic.
I was able to sell a cedar chest, TV stand, bike rack, two boxes of books, a BBQ tank (but not the BBQ) and other assorted little things.
All together we made about $80. Not a big amount but enough for a nice dinner out. And now we’ve cleared out a bunch of items from our basement, which is always good.
