I received the cheque on Friday for Windigo! Woohoo! The only thing left now is to see the published book in my hands. Looks like there'll be a signing at the Merril Collection in Toronto (http://www.tpl.toronto.on.ca/merril/home.htm ). Don't know the date yet, but I'll certainly post it once I do.

Went to the launch of Julie Czerneda's new book (and first hardcover), Species Imperative: Survival, at Bakka Phoenix in Toronto this weekend. We had a great time.
