I’ll be at the Ad Astra science fiction convention again this year. But in a change from my usual status of attendee, I’ll also be a participant. The convention is at the Crowne Plaza Toronto Don Valley Hotel (click for directions).
The book launch for Mythspring will be held there (at least the one that doesn’t require an invitation), and I’ll be doing a reading earlier in the day as well. Quite exciting for me.
Anyone who wants to come can get into the convention for free between 11 and 1 on Saturday. You’ll have to check in at the registration desk, but this shouldn’t be too hard.
My complete schedule for the convention will be:
Sat 10:00 a.m. – Salon 241 – Reading
Sat 12:00 p.m. – Colony Ballroom East – Mythspring Book Launch
Sat 6:00 p.m. – Salon 443 – Czerneda Newsgroup Pizza Party
Sun 1:00 p.m. – Colony Ballroom East – Ten Ways to Sabotage Your Own Writing
Sun 12:00 p.m. – Colony Ballroom Centre – Batman Saves Hollywood: Film at Eleven
Sun 2:00 p.m. – Reflections – Lost: What the Heck?
