Just finished Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman today. Fun novel and a return to the same universe as American Gods, though with different characters. The mythology he went with (West Indian I think) was an interesting choice.
The story centers around the conflict between two brothers, sons of the god Anansi. There are some twists, and some points that are predictable, but Gaiman gives us good characters and good prose.
