January 30, 2006February 27, 2009 Mark LadouceurLeave a comment

I received the cheque on Friday for Windigo! Woohoo! The only thing left now is to see the published book in my hands. Looks like there'll be a signing at the Merril Collection in Toronto (http://www.tpl.toronto.on.ca/merril/home.htm ). Don't know the date yet, but I'll certainly post it once I do.

January 20, 2006February 27, 2009 Mark Ladouceur2 Comments

I received the page proofs for Windigo today. Page proofs are copies of the story as well as table of contents and bio with the page design in place for me to proofread and hopefully catch any errors. It looks great! I'm walking on air for the rest of the day. I think I'll have… Continue reading Page Proofs! →

Writing on my lunch

For three days in a row I've escaped from my desk and spent my lunch hour working on my novel-in-progress.This is a huge benefit since I only have about two hours a night right now, and those are spent retraining for a new career.

I've managed to do a bit of writing the past two days during my lunch hour. I'm hoping I can make this a habit until the deadlines get too crazy to allow it.

January 5, 2006February 27, 2009 Mark LadouceurLeave a comment

As an excuse for actual content, I'm presenting a list of books that I read during 2005. Yes there's quite a few Stephen King in there and no I'm not apologizing for it. So there. Progress at long last

January 4, 2006 Mark LadouceurLeave a comment

I may actually finish this beast before 2006 is out. At least I hope… Continue reading Progress at long last →

Absence due to family

March 1, 2005February 27, 2009 Mark LadouceurLeave a comment

A very long time between posts for me. Which is nothing new considering the activity in my life lately. Monique is growing fast. She's almost 13 and a half pounds now and about 26 inches long. She's playing with her toys now and is vocalizing quite a bit. We have new pictures of her which… Continue reading Absence due to family →
