Good and bad

A very bad month for writing. A very good month for my writing.

First the good.

I’ve been granted three months leave from work to do write starting in late January or early February. My manager, Lesley, was gracious enough to grant me this time so I could concentrate on writing. I’ll be working on the novel for which I’ve developed a concept.

Then the bad.

I’ve been unbelievably busy trying to get projects at work cleared up. Everything has come due at the same time. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. June is almost over and July looks easier. Maybe I’ll finally be able to get this one short story done that’s been nagging at me.
