Spent all week alone at the cottage making notes and considering changes for the novel manuscript. Got a lot accomplished (having no one to talk to will do that).
Wound up cutting about 100 pages worth of complete chapters from the manuscript. More deletions came in the form of specific passages and blocks of text that were no longer relevant.
But, I came up with a number of very good changes that should increase the tension in the last third of the book and will cut out some repetition.
