It’s been a very nice break from work this past week. Even though I’m enjoying the new job, having a week at home has been great. I got to spend it with Liz and Monique. We hosted Christmas this year for the first time. It came off very well and the family had a good day. Monique got lots of presents from her grandparents.
I’m looking forward to trying out the new power saw I received. Liz like the gifts I bought for her, including a wreath for the front door.
I had hoped to do some writing over the break, but didn’t. At least I had some time for reading, and watching some of the DVDs I received. And I was able to finally update this with a brief entry. We’re looking forward to a good year with Monique and the many milestones she’ll reach.
