So far the only downside of my job is that I want to go to the company lunch room and socialize with my other workers. This isn’t really a downside, except that it means I’m not reading or writing at lunch as I have with every other job in the past ten years.
I have to find the time to write in the tiny portion of time left to me after work and family. So why then have I spent the past few nights pissing around with Livejournal and Blogger managing entries. It’s disappointing that given even a meager hour each night that I’ve wasted it.
In the scheme of what’s important or worth doing, managing old entries is not it. I really have to try to remain focused on a few essentials when I have free time:
- reading
- writing
- art
