Well, I finished the first draft of the novel last night (May 2). It currently weighs in at 429 pages (107,250 words). Just in time for the last day of my leave from work.
Next step is to spell check it then read it through myself, beginning to end, to take care of any inconsistencies.
It’s a relief to have it done, but I had fun most of the time, and I’m looking forward to getting on with the second draft.
