I've been tracking comments on a friend's post and how she and another writer think in words. In the comment thread the question came up of how people think about writing if not in words. I've always thought visually; in images. I can see the view out the window, the look exchanged between characters, and… Continue reading Thinking in words? Not so much
Great geek weekend
This past weekend two great shows aired their season premieres; Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who. It looked as though the FX crew on Battlestar cranked things up a notch or two. The opening battle scene was nothing short of spectacular. As impressive as the Star Wars movies. It worked well to set up some new… Continue reading Great geek weekend
This is me sending out a story again
After much dragging of my feet, I've finally picked a new market to send one of my stories too. Don't know why it took so long other than just inertia. The MS is printed, the SASE included (for easy rejection), and it's all set to go to the post office.
The water fight

How I spent my past few weeks.
I've been engaged in a long quest to free a land from the scourge of pixelated evil. It's been hard on my thumbs, and earned many eye rolls from my wife. And I'm still not done. I want to do some writing, but I guess I just haven't wanted it enough to actually put away… Continue reading How I spent my past few weeks.
Biggest Dick. Ever!
Take a read through this article from Autoblog and see if you can call to mind a more reprehensible, callous, self-centered, crass low-life. Go ahead give it a try. Then for a bonus, provide an estimate of how many kilometers he should be dragged over broken glass beneath his own oh-so-precious car.
Star Trekkin
Heh, heh, heh. Cool. The first trailer is available. http://www.paramount.com/startrek/
